Skerlick Commits to Lebanon Valley

9th Little Flyer to Make NCAA Plans

The Philadelphia Little Flyers are proud to announce that Little Flyer forward Nick Skerlick has committed to attend Lebanon Valley College in Annville, PA to continue his education and playing career.  Skerlick, who is a 6’5 220lb Left Winger played in 14 career games for the Little Flyers, registering 3 Goals and 4 Assists for 7 points. He also accumulated 29 Penalty Minutes in that time while notching 2 game winning goals.  “Nick joined us just prior to Christmas this season and was an integral part of our success.” Said Little Flyer Head Coach Rocky Russo. “He was a leader on and off the ice and the ultimate team guy. No matter what was asked of him he did it with passion and energy. Nick was absolutely an excellent addition to our program”. Skerlick said, “I had a fantastic experience in Philadelphia. I had great teammates and a one of a kind billet family.” Skerlick also added, “I would like to thank Coach Russo and Mr. Giacobbo for everything they have done for me since I got here, my parents and family for supporting me and Coach Parsons at Lebanon Valley for giving me this opportunity.” Lebanon Valley will play their final year in the ACHA this coming season before joining the NCAA level and the very competitive ECAC-West Division for the 2016-17 season.

Nick is the 9th Little Flyer to make his NCAA Plans this season, joining John Nugent (Lake Forest), Drew Gannon and Garrett Gallagher (UMASS-Boston), Zach Felser (Suny-Cortland), Blake Delisle (Trinity College), Jacob Paluch (Nazareth College), Cody Slocum (Worchester State) and Greg Procopio (Lawrence University)
