Seeing The Lauk Brothers, Bryzgalov & More
Each day from now until Christmas we will sit down and talk to a player from the Little Flyers Eastern Hockey League Junior Team to discuss the holiday season. On day twenty four we talked to goalie #30 Joe Giacobbo
- Favorite thing about Christmas or Winter? “Spending time with the family but also the lights and driving around and everyone’s decorations:”
- Favorite Christmas tradition growing up as a kid? “The seven fishes and going to my cousins & brothers for Christmas Eve”
- What are you looking forward to most this holiday season? “Seeing my best friends Eric & Ryan who are home from college for a month so it’ll be nice to catch up with them”
- Favorite Christmas Food? “Has to be the raviolis or the desserts”
- Favorite Christmas Movie? “Not to be like everyone else but definitely Elf, I’ve watched it a couple times already this year”
- Favorite Christmas Song? “Jingle Bells by Gucci Mane”
- Most Memorable Christmas? “The year I got my two lassies, Jake and Bella”
- Best gift you’ve ever received? “Besides the dogs, probably my first set of goalie pads”
- Worst gift you’ve ever received? “Has to be the winter classic Ilya Bryzgalov”
- Do you shop early or last minute? “I try to do it early but it’s always usually last minute”
- Hardest person in your family to shop for? “My brother John, just because he already has everything so its impossible to find something new for him”
- If you had to pick either Kevin McCallister from Home Alone or Ralphie from a Christmas story to play on a line with? “I’m a goalie so I’m going to say I wouldn’t mind seeing Ralphie try to stop a few pucks”
- Hot Chocolate or Egg Nog? “Hot Chocolate all the way”
- If you could get one gift this year what would it be? “Yeezys for sure”
