Aston, PA –  Philadelphia Little Flyers EHL Alumni, Brendan Coughlin has announced his NCAA college commitment to Lake Forest College located in Lake Forest, Illinois.  Coughlin, was a member of the 2017-18 Little Flyers team that went 39-9-2 on their way to a Frozen Finals appearance.  The 6’1” 190LB defenseman from Dallas, Texas was steady on the blue line for the Little Flyers while contributing 4 goals and 23 assists in the offensive zone.  Coughlin’s year spent in the Eastern Hockey League developing his skills and overall game helped him make the North American Hockey League’s Odessa Jackalopes out of training camp for the 2018-19 season where he scored 5 goals and added 3 assists in 58 games played.

“My time with the Little Flyers in the EHL was an incredible experience for me that helped me develop to get to the next step of my career.  Whether your goal is tier 1 or tier 2 Juniors or getting to college the EHL is definitely a launching pad for whatever is next.  I want to thank my parents, Coaches George Lewis, Mike Narrigan, Mark Catron for supporting me.  Finally I’d like to thank Nick Daluisio and his family for opening their home to Me.” said Coughlin earlier this week.

On behalf of the entire Little Flyers Organization we’d like to congratulate Brendan and his family on his NCAA College commitment and wish him all the best in the future.
