The Philadelphia Little Flyers are proud to announce the addition of Tyler Moll to the coaching staff for the 2020-21 season. Coach Moll, who was named head coach of the Little Flyers’ 16U American team, enters his first season with the Little Flyers' youth program. Last season, he served as head coach of the Philadelphia Jr. Flyers 16U National Premier team.

“Coaching is centered around the development of players,” Moll said. “My goal as a coach is to help players become the best versions of themselves both on and off the ice. It is my job to develop and prepare my players for the exposure that they will have through competing in the best youth hockey leagues in the country. I am excited to get started doing so with such a great organization as the Little Flyers.”

Moll also has experience coaching at the junior ranks. From 2015 through 2017, he spent his time as an assistant coach to the Philadelphia Jr. Flyers EHL and EHL Premier squads. Prior to the 2018-19 season, he was promoted to head coach of the Jr. Flyers’  EHL Premier team.

Before beginning his coaching career, Moll played youth hockey from PeeWee through Junior for the Valley Forge Minutemen and Philadelphia Jr. Flyers organizations. After graduating, he played for West Chester University's Division 1 team in the ACHA.

Moll is also a Level 3 USA Hockey certified referee.
