Koslosky Nets 100th Point of the Season

The 2021 season certainly hasn’t been your average run of the mill season by any means.  Over the past 2 months the 2011 Squirt Minor Little Flyers team has certainly found its rhythm largely thanks to Coach Rocco Carzo and all of his dedication and hard work growing his group of players.  The season has been full of starts, stops, bumps and bruises but Coach Carzo has been the one constant that has his team fighting adversity every step of the way and has the kids playing up to and beyond their full potential.  The 2011 Squirt Minor team current sits at 22-22-5-1 and is posed to close out the last month of the season very competitively including being the 1st seed overall in the upcoming 9U Diamond Division EJ playoffs.

Over this past weekend the 2011 Squirt Minor team completed a road trip to Pittsburgh where they defeated the Jr. Penguins Elite program during back to back games.  The team would like to give special mention to: defensemen Caden Miller and Quinn Bouchard for scoring their 1st tier 1 hockey goals of the season; and Max Lontz for substituting in at right wing and scoring 3 goals during the weekend including the game winner against the Jr. Penguins Elite with seconds to go.

Finally, an incredibly special milestone was also eclipsed by center Jack Koslosky over this past weekend.  Jack earned his 100th point of the season this past weekend with 61 goals and 39 assists.  This milestone is not often achieved by many players each season at any level.  His hard work, dedication and selflessness made him deserving of such an achievement.  Jack is an all-around player who thinks pass, backcheck, and D-zone first well before he even thinks about scoring goals.  He has been the heart and soul of his team and a devoted teammate.  Special congratulations to Jack Koslosky on a 100 point season, it’s well deserved…!!!
