18U: Forward Matousek signs NAHL tender

The Philadelphia Little Flyers of the NAPHL are pleased to announce that 18U forward David Matousek has signed an NAHL tender agreement with the Johnstown Tomahawks of the NAHL’s East Division.

Matousek, 18, just completed his third season of playing in the NAPHL and second for the Little Flyers organization. The 5’11/170 lbs. native of Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic, appeared in eight NAPHL regular season games during the 2020-21 season and recorded four points.

He also appeared in six Dixon Cup Playoff games, recording 10 points, as the Little Flyers made it all the way to the Championship Game. He was also selected to and played in the 2020-21 NAPHL 18U All-Star Game, where he recorded a goal for Team Demko.

Matousek also made his NAHL debut this season with the Tomahawks during the final regular season weekend of the year, recording two goals in three games played.

Matousek made his NAPHL debut during the 2018-19 season with the Valley Forge Minutemen 16U team, appearing in 16 games and recording 14 points.

He then played the 2019-20 season with the Little Flyers 18U team, appearing in 16 games and recording 22 points.
