The Philadelphia Little Flyers, proud members of the Mid-Atlantic Woman’s Hockey Association (MAWHA) and National Girls Hockey League (NGHL) are proud to announce 19U Forward Kaila Booth’s NCAA college commitment to Neumann University. “Kaila is hard-working, leads by example and highly respected by her teammates.  Kaila's strong competitive nature has led to a big part of our success this season.  Even when faced with tough situations, Kaila does not back away and in many times makes humor towards it and sets out to achieve the task in hand. I know she will continue to have success in her college career” said Little Flyers Girls 19U Head Coach Ken Deming.  The Neumann University Knights are led by Head Coach Gina Kearns McLaughlin and are members of the United Collegiate Hockey Conference.

“I’m excited to announce my commitment to Neumann University. I’d like to thank the Philadelphia Little Flyers and my family for helping me get to this point in my life.  I would especially like to thank my teammates and Coaches from over the years.  Coach Keenan , Coach Jordan, and Coach Ken always found a way to help me be the best i could.  I also want to thank my teammates.  We have been through so much over the past years and we will always be more than just friends.  Finally I’d like to thank Coach Kearns and Neumann University for giving me the opportunity to be an NCAA Student-Athlete” said Booth last week after making her commitment official.

Booth, MAWHA’s leading goal scorer with 19, sits atop the league leaders in most offensive categories including 1st in goals (19), 2nd  in assists (15), 2nd in points (34), T-2nd in game winning goals (4).  Booth and her Little Flyers teammates are currently 20-0-1 in MAWHA league play and hold the number one seed heading into the playoffs.  On behalf of the entire Philadelphia Little Flyers Organization we would like to congratulate Kaila and her family on Kaila’s NCAA commitment to Neumann University and thank her for contributions both on and off the ice to the Philadelphia Little Flyers Organization.
