“I’m excited to announce my commitment to further my academic and athletic career at Rivier University.  I would love to thank my family and teammates for helping to shape me into the person I am today. I would also love to thank Coach Catron, Anthony Lorusso and the Little Flyers organization for giving me the opportunity to play.  I could never of done it without my teammates and parents pushing me every step of the of the way.  Lastly, I’d like to thank Coach Keating for giving me this opportunity, I’m honored to be a Raider” said Rominiecki upon making his commitment official.

In his rookie season in the EHL during the 2020-21 season, Rominiecki played in 32 games for the Little Flyers.  This year, Rominiecki earned a much bigger role with the club, playing in 47 games while scoring two goals and dishing out 10 assists.  As Coach Catron mentioned, Sebastian’s physicality and shot blocking ability really showed on the EHL’s top rated Penalty Killing Unit that operated at 91.5% this season.  There will be two familiar faces alongside the newest Raider when he arrives in Nashua this fall in the form of current Rivier freshman Brett Turner and Rominiecki’s current teammate Avery Arnold.
