Aston, PA -- The Philadelphia Little Flyers of the NAPHL are pleased to announce that 18U defenseman Jack Costabile has signed a North American Hockey League (NAHL) tender agreement with the Johnstown Tomahawks of the NAHL’s East Division.

Costabile, 19, just finished his third season in the NAPHL and third with the Little Flyers organization. The 6’0/187 lbs. native of Devon, Pennsylvania played 15 games for Philadelphia in the 2021-22 campaign, putting up a pair of goals and five assists in those games played. He also appeared in four 2022 NAPHL 18U Dixon Cup games, recording two goals and two assists for the Little Flyers.

Across his three-year NAPHL career, Costabile has played in 53 games (regular season and postseason) and recorded 39 points.

Costabile was selected to and participated in the 2022 NAHL 18U Top Prospects, representing the NAPHL, where he recorded one point in 4 games played.

“Jack Costabile embodies everything it means to be a Little Flyer. He is a student, a gentlemen, tough, a leader, selfless, confident, humble, hardworking, and wants to win.” Said Little Flyers U18 Head Coach and General Manager Dave Dorman.  “Jack wrapped up his 3 years with our nationally recognized U18 team leading his peers to an AYHL regular season championship, AYHL playoff championship, Atlantic District Championship, 3 years undefeated record in the AYHL regular season, and a bid to the USA Hockey national tournament. None of this happens without the character of young men like Jack Costabile. He is an accomplished young man and will only continue to grow under the guidance of Head Coach Mike Letizia, and the Johnstown Tomahawks” concluded Coach Dorman.
