Aston, PA --   The Philadelphia Little Flyers, members of the Eastern Hockey League are proud to announce forwards Reid Ludwig and Connor Gluck have been named co-captains for the 2023-24 EHL Premier season.  Ludwig, a 6’0” 145lb forward from New Berlin, Wisconsin and Connor Gluck a 6’0” 165lb forward from Ridley, Pennsylvania both enter their second season with the Little Flyers EHL Premier team.

They’ve been leaders since day one on and off the ice in training camp” said Little Flyers EHL Premier Head Coach Mike Narrigan.  They were rookies last year and learned from veteran guys like AJ Basich and Ian Finley who both moved up to the EHL team that culture is important. The two of them have come in and been leaders helping guys the right way. I like how our guys have gelled already and have high expectations for this season” he concluded.

Ludwig, played 32 games for the Little Flyers during the 2022-23 season, scoring 4 goals and adding 9 assists.  "I would like to thank the Little Flyers for being my second home, this organization has been nothing but great to me. To say I am a leader of such a great group of guys this season makes me unbelievably proud. I would also like to thank coach Narrigan for trusting me in this role, and I would love to pay him back with a trip to Providence this upcoming season" said Ludwig late last week.  Prior to playing for the Little Flyers, Reid played for the Ice Force in the Wisconsin High School League.

Gluck, an alumni of the Philadelphia Little Flyers youth program was also a captain for his Ridley Raiders High School team.  In 44 games during the 2022-23 season, Gluck scored six goals and registered 7 assists.  “I am extremely honored to be named captain of the Little flyers EHL Premier team. I am so thankful that Coach Narrigan has given me and Reid the opportunity to lead this team.  I plan to show all of our rookies the culture that Little Flyers has and use that to take us to a championship” said Gluck upon being named a captain.
