Housing Famlies needed
I wanted to reach out to you and introduce myself. My name is Rocky Russo and I am the new Head Coach/Director of Hockey Operations for the Little Flyers EHL team. I have coached Junior Hockey for 8 season's in the North American Hockey league including my last 3 with the Amarillo Bulls.I am writing because we are looking for families to assist us in housing our players. As soon as I was hired it became my mission to make the Little Flyer program one of the elite Junior A teams in the country. In order to do that I had to recruit players from not just the eastern region but also all over the country. At this time I have players committed from California, Tennessee, Illinois, Michigan and Ohio. I also have one young man coming from Russia. My goals include a trickle down effect that will have a positive influence on every team within our organization. Our players will be giving back to the community and to the organization on a weekly basis. For those of you with kids in the youth program you can expect a strong presence of Junior A players in and around your players practices and games this season. I will be creating a schedule for all of our players to spend time working with the younger teams and pushing the effort to give back to the organization from top to bottom. I have attached the Little Flyer Expectations and Guidelines that I have implemented this season for your review. This should give you a better understanding of the expectations of the players should they be a part of our program. It is my goal to make this program elite in every way, and the players that represent it are the biggest part. I have recruited not just good hockey players but more importantly good young men. These young men will be excellent additions to your family, the organization and the surrounding community. I have also included my coaching background for your review.
