~Pierce Commits to St. Mary’s University
 
The Philadelphia Little Flyers are proud to announce that 1993 born Defenseman Cole Pierce, has committed to attend St. Mary’s University to continue his education and playing career.  In 20 games Cole registered 7 assists including 3 on the powerplay and 6 penalty minutes.  “Cole was a veteran addition to a very young D core” Said Little Flyer Head Coach Rocky Russo. “He was able to play in all situations and add some valuable junior experience to our team”.  Pierce said, “I would like to thank Coach Moore and the St. Mary’s staff for giving me this opportunity. He also added, “Playing for the Little Flyers was a great experience. I can’t thank Mr. Giacobbo and Coach Russo enough for the opportunity.”
Cole will be joining a fellow Little Flyer, Stephen Gielarowski, in the incoming freshman class at St. Mary’s. Cole and Stephen were also former teammates on the 18U Belle Tire AAA team.
