~~Lukenda Commits To St. Olaf College
 
The Philadelphia Little Flyers are proud to announce that 1993 born Centerman Carter Lukenda, has committed to attend St. Olaf College to continue his education and playing career.  In 16 games Carter registered 2 Goals and 8 Assists while accumulating 20 penalty minutes.  “Carter was a huge addition to our program down the stretch” Said Little Flyer Head Coach Rocky Russo. “After losing Stevie (Gielarowski) we had a big hole at the center position. Carter was able to fill that void by playing great two way hockey, winning over 65% of his draws and being a big piece to our penalty kill down the stretch and in the playoffs”.  Lukenda said, “I would like to thank Coach Goldsworthy and the St. Olaf staff for giving me this opportunity. He also added, “I am grateful to have had the opportunity to play in the Little Flyer organization. Coach Russo got me back to playing the way I am capable of and helped to restore my confidence.”  “Mr. Giacobbo does a great job of providing an environment that is competitive and enjoyable for the players and I thank him for that.”
