Delisle Commits to Trinity College

2nd Little Flyer Commitment of 2014-15 Season

The Philadelphia Little Flyers are proud to announce that 1995 born forward Blake Delisle, has committed to attend Trinity College to continue his education and playing career.  In 32 regular season games Blake has registered 9 Goals and 8 Assists for 17 Points, He also accumulated 14 regular season penalty minutes. Delisle, a 5’11, 180lb Left Winger hails from Dallas, TX, where he first met Coach Russo.  “I have known Coach Russo for a few seasons.“ Said Blake. “He initially recruited me to play in Amarillo and when he took over in Philadelphia I was just very comfortable playing for him.” Blake is a very intelligent young man.” Said Little Flyer Head Coach Rocky Russo. “He caught on to the systems very quickly and has been a tremendous asset for us all season. He played in all situations including being a big contributor on our Penalty Kill Unit”.  Delisle said, “I would like to thank Coach Greason and the Trinity Staff for giving me this opportunity. He also added, “I had planned on going to Trinity last summer and wanted to play junior Hockey for an organization that would best prepare me for NCAA Hockey. I knew without question the Little Flyers could help me with that.” Delisle Added “Coach Russo and the staff have been a great help in getting me ready for College, I can’t thank them enough for the opportunity to play in Philadelphia and chase a Championship.”
