The Philadelphia Little Flyers are proud to announce that Little Flyer Captain Zach Felser has committed to attend Suny Cortland University to continue his education and playing career.  In 76 regular season games for the Little Flyers, Zach registered 34 Goals and 71 Assists for 105 Points while also accumulating 87 Penalty Minutes.  Felser was only the 2nd player in EHL History to reach the 100 point plateau.  In the Playoffs Zach has been over a point a game player, adding 2 goals and 6 assists in 7 games.  “Zach has been a tremendous leader for our hockey club.” Said Little Flyer Head Coach Rocky Russo. “He has worn the “C” for our team for two seasons and has been an extremely important element to our success”. “I am proud to say that I had the opportunity to not only get to coach Zach, but more importantly get to know him as a person.”  Felser said, “I would like to thank my parents and family for supporting me as I pursued my goal of playing NCAA College hockey.” He also added, “Playing for the Little Flyers organization and Coach Russo has been an unreal experience. I have not only gotten better on the ice, but more importantly I have become a more mature and focused individual. I am confident I am prepared to take the next step in my career both academically and athletically.” “We have accomplished a lot in my two years here, but the goal was always to win an EHL championship and a National Title. Now that I have finalized my NCAA decision I can focus on doing whatever it takes to help my teammates accomplish our goal.”

Felser will lead the # 1 Seed Little Flyers into the EHL playoffs this weekend as they take on the #16 Seed Valley Jr Warriors in a best of 3 series.
