Majul Commits to Curry College

11th Little Flyer to Make NCAA Plans

The Philadelphia Little Flyers are proud to announce that Little Flyer Forward Hector Majul has committed to attend Curry College in Milton, MA to continue his education and playing career.  Majul, who is a 5’11, 185lb Right wing, played in 66 regular season games over 2 seasons for the Little Flyers. In that time Hector scored 24 goals and added 29 assists for 53 points. He also racked up 60 penalty minutes and netted 4 game winning goals. In the playoffs Hector was also a big point producer, scoring 7 goals and adding 6 assists for 13 points in 14 career games. “Hector was a huge piece to our program over the last two seasons.” Said Little Flyer Head Coach Rocky Russo. “He was known as an offensive player with explosive speed when we acquired him, he managed to really round out his game and become a complete player during his time here. Curry is getting a great young man with an excellent work ethic and great character.” Majul said, “I would like to thank my parents, Coach Russo, Mr. Giacobbo and my billet family for the great experience I had in Philadelphia.” Majul also added, “I am very excited to continue my education and playing career at Curry College. I appreciate the opportunity that Coach Manastersky has given me and look forward to getting started.”  

Hector is the 11th Little Flyer to make his NCAA Plans this season, joining Steve Mallory (Amherst), Nick Skerlick (Lebanon Valley) John Nugent (Lake Forest), Drew Gannon and Garrett Gallagher (UMASS-Boston), Zach Felser (Suny-Cortland), Blake Delisle (Trinity College), Jacob Paluch (Nazareth College), Cody Slocum (Worchester State) and Greg Procopio (Lawrence University)
