Catron Named Bantam Major Coach

This will be Mark's Second season with the Little Flyers. While in Indianapolis, Mark worked for seven years in the USHL with the Indiana Ice both on and off the ice. As a Skills Coach, he worked with several NHL, Minor League, and Division I college players. Mark was also the U-18AAA coach for four years and coached the National Runner-up teams at both Peewee and Bantam.

He was named Head Coach of the Seguin Bruins Jr A Tier II Team in the Ontario Provincial Jr Hockey League, leading that team to their first playoff appearance. Mark moved back to the East Coast and coached the Philadelphia Revolution Empire Jr team to a 40-7-3 record. For two seasons, he was a Scout for the Trenton Titans of the ECHL.

As a player, Mark was a draft pick of the Kitchener Rangers of the OHL. Played in the QMJHL, which lead him to both the Rookie and Main camps of the New Jersey Devils. Played Professionally in the ACHL and Europe for 4 years.

Mark is the Owner/Head Instructor of Players Edge Hockey Schools with camps and clinics throughout the US for the past 25 years.
