Each day from now until Christmas we will sit down and talk to a player from the Little Flyers Eastern Hockey League Junior Team to discuss the holiday season.  On day eleven we talked to forward #14 Alex Ochterbeck

  1.  Favorite thing about Christmas?  "Snow, back in Texas we don’t get a lot of it so hopefully up here in Philadelphia we can get a good amount this season”
  2. Favorite Christmas tradition growing up as a kid? “Every morning on Christmas we’d have cinnamon rolls, they were really good”
  3. What are you looking forward to most this holiday season?  “I’m looking forward to the winter up here to see how it goes, it’ll definitely be different”
  4. Favorite Christmas Food?  “Gingerbread cookies that my mom makes”
  5. Favorite Christmas Movie?  “Elf
  6. Favorite Christmas Song?  “White Christmas”
  7. Most Memorable Christmas? “When I was 10 I got a nice snowfall and some good presents”
  8. Best gift you’ve ever received? “Sidney Crosby jersey”
  9. Worst gift you’ve ever received? “My sister gave me a bag of rocks one year”
  10. Do you shop early or last minute? “Last minute every time”
  11. Hardest person in your family to shop for? “Definitely my sister, I just have my mom do it”
  12. If you had to pick either Kevin McCallister from Home Alone or Ralphie from a Christmas story to play on your line who would it be? “Kevin, no question”
  13. Hot Chocolate or Egg Nog? “Tough one but I’ll go with hot chocolate and marshmallows”
  14.  If you could get one gift this year what would it be? “Championship”
