Another candidate for worst gift you'll read about

Each day from now until Christmas we will sit down and talk to a player from the Little Flyers Eastern Hockey League Junior Team to discuss the holiday season.  On day twelve we talked to forward #15 Ryan Vogt

  1.  Favorite thing about Christmas?  "The cold weather is nice because that’s real hockey weather but time with family and friends is always good”
  2. Favorite Christmas tradition growing up as a kid? “We do the seven fishes on Christmas eve and when we got home our parents would give us one gift to open”
  3. What are you looking forward to most this holiday season?  “My aunt and uncle are coming up from Florida so getting the whole family together is going to be nice”
  4. Favorite Christmas Food?  “My mom gets this big thing of brie cheese and she puts dried fruits in it like cranberries, if you eat it with some crackers it really hits the spot”
  5. Favorite Christmas Movie?  “The Grinch, the Jim Carey version”
  6. Favorite Christmas Song?  “It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas by Bing Crosby, that’s a classic”
  7. Most Memorable Christmas? “When I was like 9 years old I really wanted Heelys, so I opened all my presents and no Heelys, I was a little disappointed but then my dad pulled the old classic what’s that over there movie.  I opened it up and it was the Heelys, that made my year”
  8. Best gift you’ve ever received? “The Heelys”
  9. Worst gift you’ve ever received? “Two years ago I got the Ebola survival handbook from my parents……. Still haven’t opened it”
  10. Do you shop early or last minute? “I get the big items done early but I’m always out last minute getting smaller gifts”
  11. Hardest person in your family to shop for? “My mom, she obviously likes cooking but there is only so much room in the house for that stuff”
  12. If you had to pick either Kevin McCallister from Home Alone or Ralphie from a Christmas story to play on your line who would it be? “McCallister, he’s a pretty clever guy always figuring stuff out”
  13. Hot Chocolate or Egg Nog? “Egg nog”
  14.  If you could get one gift this year what would it be? “Besides an EHL Championship a stereo system would be nice”
