Each day from now until Christmas we will sit down and talk to a player from the Little Flyers Eastern Hockey League Junior Team to discuss the holiday season. On day sixteen we talked to forward #21 Konsta Jaakola
- Favorite thing about Christmas? "Going up to Northern Finland to see my family and spend Christmas with them”
- Favorite Christmas tradition growing up as a kid? “Going to play pond hockey on Christmas day with my dad and other relatives”
- What are you looking forward to most this holiday season? “Going home and seeing my family and friends and spending some quality time with them”
- Favorite Christmas Food? “Finnish Christmas ham”
- Favorite Christmas Movie? “A Christmas Story”
- Favorite Christmas Song? “All I Want For Christmas Is You”
- Most Memorable Christmas? “Last year, I was away for a couple of months since I went to prep school but when I got to go home after a couple months away it was really nice after not seeing my family for three months”
- Best gift you’ve ever received? “When I was 10 years old I got an electric guitar, I used to play all the time but don’t really anymore”
- Worst gift you’ve ever received? “A pair of underpants”
- Do you shop early or last minute? “Early”
- Hardest person in your family to shop for? “My Dad, he doesn’t usually know what he wants”
- If you had to pick either Kevin McCallister from Home Alone or Ralphie from a Christmas story to play on a line with? "Kevin McCallister"
- Hot Chocolate or Egg Nog? “Hot Chocolate”
- If you could get one gift this year what would it be? “A new phone, I’ve already broken two this year”
