Ochterbeck Named EHL’S TSR Hockey Forward of the Month

Aston, PA – The Eastern Hockey League (EHL) announced today that Little Flyers forward Alex Ochterbeck has been named the TSR Hockey Forward of the Month for September.  Ochterbeck, a ’97 birth year forward from Dallas, Texas is in his second season with the Little Flyers.  Alex currently leads the EHL in scoring with 22 points; he is tied with line mate Joey Savel for the league lead in goals (10) and leads the league in assists (12).  Through the Little Flyers first eight games, Savel and Ochterbeck have combined for 20 goals and 23 assists.  “We are extremely proud of Alex and the team as a whole so far this season, individually Alex has been excellent as far as scoring goals and making plays in our first eight games.  His line has really helped us offensively, scoring a lot of goals and they’ve been a matchup problem for some of our opponents thus far.  Our entire organization is proud of Alex, he is really deserving of this award” said Little Flyers EHL Head Coach George Lewis.  Last Season, Ochterbeck played in 55 total games for the Little Flyers, scoring 21 goals and adding 22 assists through the regular season and playoffs.  Two of Ochterbeck’s ten goals this season have been game winners, helping the Little Flyers to a 6-2 record in September.
