Aston, PA – The Philadelphia Little Flyers 2007 PeeWee minor team took home second place in the Gene Harrington AAA Cup in Niagra Falls.  In the championship game the Little Flyers played the Rochester Coalition.  Latham Hutchinson scored an unassisted goal 26 seconds into the game at the 11:34 mark.  Rochester evened the score with a shorthanded goal at the 4:16 of the 2nd period. The game remained tied 1-1 at the end of regulation. Sudden death OT ensued. After the first OT period in which the teams played 5 on 5 for 4 minutes the game remained tied at 1-1. In the second OT, the teams played 4 on 4.  Rochester scored the winner at the 2:14 mark. Jacob Aranda was in net, stopping 15/17 shots.  Little Flyers finished with 14 total shots.  

Overall, the Little Flyers ended with a 3-2 record in the tournament, with both losses coming against Rochester.  The team posted wins against the Springfield (MA) Jr. Thunderbirds 6-4, Hamilton (Ontario) Huskies 2-0, and Markham (Ontario) Islanders 6-3.
