Aston, PA – The North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL) recently named their All-NAPHL T1er 18U teams for the Central, East and West Divisions. The NAPHL selects these players based on player performance in all NAPHL regular season and playoff games. Three Little Flyers from the 18U team that earned a birth to USA Hockey Nationals were honored by the NAPHL. “The awards just continue to roll in for our midget program. Having 3 out of the 6 spots on the NAPHL All-East division team is really something special. Our program’s culture continues to be the gold standard of development and advancement” said Little Flyers 18U Head Coach and General Manager Dave Dorman.
All-NAPHL 18U Team – East Division Forward – Andrew Hodolitz
Hodolitz, a Philadelphia native, led the Little Flyers 18U team in NAPHL scoring this past season with 9 goals and 13 assists in 20 total games. Two of his goals were game winners. The 6ft 175LB forward will look to have continued success at the Junior level as his play in the NAPHL and AYHL earned him a tender with the Mercer Chiefs of the NCDC. “Andrew Hodolitz came to us from another organization 3 years ago and has grown in so many ways that are much more important than the product on the ice. This growth ultimately led to this award. This award represents his growth as a Little Flyer and is the culmination of several years of putting his personal interests aside, and committing himself to a club, and his teammates” Said Coach Dorman when asked about Hodolitz’s development.
All-NAPHL 18U Team – East Division Defense – Andrew Henry
Henry, led all Little Flyers defensemen in NAPHL scoring with 19 points in 20 games. The Wilmington, Delaware native scored 6 goals and handed out 13 assists. He registered seven multi-point games including a three point performance against the New Hampshire Avalanche. Next season, Henry plans to play for the NCDC’s Mercer Chiefs after signing a tender with them. “Andrew Henry was a homegrown product from the beginning, and a team leader for us. His reliability on the back end will be incredibly missed, and hard to replace. Andrew was hands down a top defenseman in the NAPHL and a mainstay in our top powerplay unit” said Coach Dorman
All-NAPHL 18U Team – East Division Goalie – Tyler Temoyan
Temoyan finished the NAPHL season with an impressive 10-1 record in net for the Little Flyers 18U team. He was atop the leader board in most major goaltending statistical categories, finishing the season 4th in Goals Against Average with a 1.69 and .930 save percentage. Temoyan and his Little Flyers defense had the 4th highest goal differential at +43. In the playoffs, Temoyan went 2-0 with a shutout and two goals against in the Dixon Cup Playoffs. “Tyler Temoyan is a one of a kind human being and this award acknowledges only one minor aspect of who he is. His personality and love for those around him is contagious and another major reason for the success of our program. His contributions on and off the ice never went unnoticed, and without fanfare. He embodies everything it means to be a Little Flyer and will be hard to replace” said Coach Dorman when asked about his two-year starting goaltender.
The Little Flyers also had a total of eight players named to the NAPHL Academic Honor Roll. Hunter Engelman, Matt Harris, Hunter Hayes, Sam Phillips, Nathan Rabadam, Ryan Talorico, Tyler Temoyan, David Vergules. “All 3 of these players, and those recognized for their academic achievements with an All-Academic team nomination, are a part of the reason our season was capped with a regular season championship, league, and district championship, as well as a trip to the USA Hockey national tournament. This culture of understanding that what is done off the ice is directly connected to how we play on the ice, has been a major part of our success. Great job to all of boys for this well-deserved acknowledgement from the NAPHL” concluded Dorman.
Aston, PA -- The Philadelphia Little Flyers of the NAPHL are pleased to announce that 18U forward Ryan Talorico has signed a North American Hockey League (NAHL) tender agreement with the New Jersey Titans of the NAHL’s East Division.

He was an integral part in our team making the USA Hockey Nationals and is a player who is only beginning to understand his potential” said Little Flyers U18 Head Coach and General Manager Dave Dorman. “His character, drive, and willingness to do anything that is asked of him is next level. None of this happens without the character of young men like Jack Costabile.
